Opera Tunnel
The Opera Tunnel () is a motorway tunnel system under Oslo city center between Filipstad in the west and Ryen in the east. The tunnel consists of four parts built at different times. From west to east are the Festning Tunnel and Bjørvika Tunnel, which are part of European route E18, and the Ekeberg Tunnel and Svartdal Tunnel, which make up a branch of European Route E6. Between the Bjørvika Tunnel and Ekeberg Tunnel is a long stretch in the open. The signposted length is and the tunnels have a combined length of . European Route E6
European route E6 (, , or simply E6) is the main north–south thoroughfare through Norway as well as the west coast of Sweden. It is long and runs from the southern tip of Sweden at Trelleborg, into Norway and through almost all of the country north to the Arctic Circle and Nordkapp. The route ends in Kirkenes close to the Russian border. Route From south to north, the E6 runs through Trelleborg, Malmö, Helsingborg, Halmstad, Gothenburg, Svinesund in Sweden, before crossing the border at the Svinesund Bridge into Norway. It then passes Halden, Sarpsborg, Moss, Vestby to the capital Oslo. North of this, it passes by Gardermoen, Hamar, Lillehammer, Dombås, Oppdal, Melhus to Trondheim. Fjord City
The Fjord City () is an urban renewal project for the waterfront part of the centre of Oslo, Norway. The first redevelopment was at Aker Brygge during the 1980s. Bjørvika and Tjuvholmen followed up during the 2000s, while the remaining parts of the Port of Oslo will be developed in the 2010s. The port will be relocated to Sørhavna. The planning is performed by the Oslo Waterfront Planning Office. Major investments in the area include a new Central Railway Station, an already completed Oslo Opera House, and the commercial buildings in the Barcode Project. Several large cultural institutions will be moved to Bjørvika, including moving the Oseberg Ship, Oslo Public Library, and the Munch Museum. A member of the House of Glücksburg, Harald was the third child and only son of King Olav V of Norway and Princess Märtha of Sweden. Filipstad, Norway
Filipstad is a neighborhood in the Frogner borough in Oslo, Norway. It serves both as a major containerization, container port and ferry terminal for the city. The Oslo-Kiel ferry docks by the Hjortneskaia at Filipstad. History The neighborhood grew from a single property ''Philipsborg'', named after the pharmacist Philip Moth, around 1650.
