It is the first studio album to be released by Victoria Bergsman after shedding her duties as the lead singer of The Concretes. It was released on June 18, 2007 on Rough Trade Records. Atlantis Studios
Atlantis Studios is a recording studio at Karlbergsvägen 57 in Stockholm. Founded in 1959 as Metronome Studios, it is the location of early recordings of the members of ABBA prior to the formation of the group, as well as the majority of the group's hit singles and recordings by The Cardigans, Roxette, Opeth, The Hives, and others. History Metronome The premises opened in 1941 as the 330-seat Kadetten cinema. Two years later, its name was changed to Terry. The theater closed in 1959. The same year, the Metronome record label converted the premises into a recording studio. The studio was run by Anders Burman and Börje Ekberg sound engineers Gösta Wiholm and Rune Persson. Erik Mikael Arvinder, born in 1984 in Stockholm, Sweden, is a Swedish violinist, multi-instrumentalist, arranger, orchestrator and conductor. He is known for his work across Europe and the United States, and for collaborations with international artists such as Harry Styles, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Ariana Grande, Coldplay, Childish Gambino and John Legend. Arvinder has worked as creative director for Leksand's Chamber Music Festival, concertmaster for several Nordic ensembles and founding member of the Vamlingbo Quartet. Verity Susman
Verity Susman is an English songwriter, composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist. She is best known as a founding member and the frontwoman of the English indie rock band Electrelane. Music career Following classical piano, clarinet and saxophone lessons as a child and teenager, Susman formed the band Electrelane with drummer Emma Gaze soon after leaving school. The band released four albums, an EP, multiple singles and a Singles, B-Sides & Live compilation album between 2000 and 2007. Camera Obscura are a Scottish indie pop band from Glasgow. The group formed in 1996, and have released six studio albums to date. The Concretes were a Swedish indie pop band from Stockholm. History Since their formation in 1995, the Concretes have grown into an eight-piece band.
