Onoff (Irish Band)
Onoff, stylized as ONOFF, are a Rock Trio punk rock band from Dublin, Ireland currently located in California. Onoff broke onto the Irish scene in 2002 with the release of their album, ''Hey Jack! You're Late!'', which reached number 7 in Irish Tower Chart. Onoff had already played sold-out shows around Ireland prior to the album's release which included shows in the Ambassador Theatre. Onoff's now-infamous live performances, which included getting fans on stage, fire-breathing finales, and even arriving on stage in coffins, landed them support slots with bands such as Fall Out Boy, Bad Religion, Funeral For a Friend and Therapy?, as well as a tour with Reel Big Fish. In 2007, the band played two sold-out tours in Ireland for their new album, and a European tour with Dutch punk band De Heideroosjes. Punk Rock
Punk rock (also known as simply punk) is a rock music genre that emerged in the mid-1970s. The Ambassador Theatre, formerly Rotund Room, Rotunda, and Ambassador Cinema, was the longest-running cinema in Dublin, Ireland, and was operational on and off until 1999. It operated as a music venue between 2001 and 2008. it is used as an exhibition hall and event centre. Fall Out Boy is an American rock band formed in Wilmette, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, in 2001. Funeral for a Friend are a Welsh post-hardcore band from Bridgend, Wales, Bridgend, formed in 2001. Therapy?
Therapy? are a Northern Irish rock band from Larne, formed in 1989 by guitarist-vocalist Andy Cairns and drummer-vocalist Fyfe Ewing. Therapy? recorded their first demo with Cairns filling in on bass guitar. To complete the lineup, the band recruited Larne bassist Michael McKeegan. The band signed with major label A&M Records in 1992, for which they released four albums, most notably '' Troublegum'' in 1994 and '' Infernal Love'' in 1995. Ewing's departure in early 1996 preceded the arrivals of his replacement Graham Hopkins, as well as Martin McCarrick on guitar and cello. Neil Cooper replaced Hopkins in 2002. Reel Big Fish is an American ska punk band from Huntington Beach, California.
