One Day (Opshop Song)
"One Day" is the third single from New Zealand band Opshop's second studio album, '' Second Hand Planet''. The song won the 2008 APRA Silver Scroll for Song of the Year. The video features New Zealand singer Dianne Swann, previously in the bands Everything That Flies, When The Cat's Away and currently performing with Brett Adams as The Bads. 10 years after release, the song featured on soap opera ''Shortland Street'' during the death scene of long-running character Marj Brasch ( Elizabeth McRae). Elizabeth McRae
Elizabeth Helen McRae (née Kersley; born 1 August 1936) is a New Zealand actress, best known for her portrayal of Marjorie Brasch (née Neilson) in the television soap opera ''Shortland Street'', and, in the last decade, as Jean Marlowe, in the internationally distributed TV series ''The Brokenwood Mysteries''. Biography Born in Wellington in 1936, McRae was educated at Wellington Girls' College from 1950 to 1954 and was head prefect in her final year. She graduated from Victoria University College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1958 and married architect Don McRae in Wellington the following year. Marjorie "Marj" Brasch (previously Neilson) is a fictional character on the New Zealand soap opera ''Shortland Street''. Being part of the original cast, she was portrayed by Elizabeth McRae from the show's first season in 1992 up until 1996. She returned as a guest character in 1998, 2002, as part of the show's 20th anniversary in May 2012 and again for the show's 25th anniversary in 2017.
