Oliver Solberg
Oliver Solberg (born 23 September 2001) is a Swedish rally (sports), rally driver. After winning multiple Crosskart, crosskarting championships in his early years, Solberg became the 2018 RallyX Nordic Champion and the 2019 FIA ERC1 Junior Champion before entering the World Rally Championship (WRC) in 2019. In 2022, he competed at the top level of the WRC for the first time as the third driver for Hyundai Motorsport, driving the new Rally1 car. In 2023, Solberg returned to WRC2 competition, winning his first points-scoring event at Rally Sweden 2023. In 2024, Solberg joined Formula 1 driver Lando Norris' Quadrant Athlete program alongside three others, including WMX racer Lotte van Drunen, Moto3 pilot Iván Ortolá, and Olympic Gold medal winner Keegan Palmer. Cyprus Rally
The Cyprus Rally is a rallying competition held yearly in Cyprus since 1970. The event is run by the Cyprus Automobile Association and is based in the city of Limassol (Lemesos). It is run on the winding roads of the nearby mountains of Troödos. It was part of the FIA's World Rally Championship (WRC) from 2000 to 2006. In 2007 and 2008 the event was part of the FIA Middle East Rally Championship (MERC). The Cyprus Rally rejoined the WRC in 2009, taking advantage of the new regulations to become the only mixed surface event. Between 2010 and 2012, the event was the final round of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC), as well as the penultimate round of the MERC (except in 2011, when it was separately held in July), including in 2013. A World Rally Car is a racing automobile built to the specific regulations set by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and designed for competition in the World Rally Championship (WRC).
