Oliver Sin
Oliver Sin (born 18 May 1985) is a Hungarian artist. Early life and education Born in Budapest, Hungary, Oliver Sin was raised with his sister Judit by his father, Zoltan Sin, a ropemaker. He became interested in art and science at an early age. He studied visual art from 2003 to 2009 at Dunakeszi's Miklós Radnóti Gymnasium. After graduation Sin enrolled in Szombathely's University of West Hungary where he majored in Visual Arts and Croatian. Career Sin's work first came to international attention after his collaboration with Fibenare Guitars Co., when they made the Fibenare - Oliver Sin Collaboration Guitar in 2012. He made the cover of ''Guitar Connoisseur Magazine'' (in New York, USA) in 2013. Museum Of Fine Arts, Budapest
The Museum of Fine Arts (, ) is a museum in Heroes' Square, Budapest, Hungary, facing the Palace of Art. It was built by the plans of Albert Schickedanz and Fülöp Herzog in an eclectic- neoclassical style , between 1900 and 1906. The museum's collection is made up of international art (other than Hungarian), including all periods of European art, and comprises more than 100,000 pieces. The collection is made up of older additions such as those from Buda Castle, the Esterházy and Zichy estates, as well as donations from individual collectors. The Museum's collection is made up of six departments: Egyptian, Antique, Old sculpture gallery, Old master paintings gallery, Modern collection, Graphics collection. Trebuchet Magazine
A trebuchet () is a type of catapult that uses a hinged arm with a sling attached to the tip to launch a projectile. It was a common powerful siege engine until the advent of gunpowder. The design of a trebuchet allows it to launch projectiles of greater weights and further distances than a traditional catapult. There are two main types of trebuchet. The first is the ''traction trebuchet'', or mangonel, which uses manpower to swing the arm. It first appeared in China by the 4th century BC. It spread westward, possibly via the Avars, and was adopted by the Byzantines, Persians, Arabs, and other neighboring peoples by the sixth to seventh centuries AD. The later, and often larger and more powerful, counterweight trebuchet, also known as the counterpoise trebuchet, uses a counterweight to swing the arm.
