Oliver Dunn
Oliver Harris Dunn (born September 2, 1997) is an American professional baseball infielder for the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2024. Career Dunn played college baseball at the University of Utah. In 2018, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod Baseball League. Dunn was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 11th round of the 2019 Major League Baseball draft. The Philadelphia Phillies selected Dunn in the minor league phase of the 2022 Rule 5 draft. He played in the Arizona Fall League after the 2023 season. On November 14, 2023, the Phillies traded Dunn to the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for Hendry Mendez and Robert Moore and the Brewers added him to their 40-man roster. Dunn was optioned to the Triple–A Nashville Sounds to begin the 2024 season. Infielder
An infielder is a baseball player stationed at one of four defensive "infield" positions on the baseball field. Standard arrangement of positions In a game of baseball, two teams of nine players take turns playing offensive and defensive roles. Although there are many rules to baseball, in general the team playing offense tries to score runs by batting balls into the field that enable runners to make a complete circuit of the four bases. Garrett Antony-Charles Mitchell (born September 4, 1998) is an American professional baseball center fielder for the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball (MLB). Mitchell was selected 20th overall by the Brewers in the 2020 MLB draft. Early life and high school Mitchell grew up in Orange, California, and attended the Lutheran High School of Orange County, where he was a four-year member of the varsity baseball team. He was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at nine years old. Regarded as a top collegiate prospect, Mitchell committed to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) to play college baseball for the UCLA Bruins during his sophomore year at Lutheran. Nashville Sounds
The Nashville Sounds are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. They are located in Nashville, Tennessee, and are named for the city's association with the music industry, specifically the "Nashville sound", a subgenre of country music which originated in the city and became popular in the mid-1950s. The team plays their home games at First Horizon Park, which opened in 2015 on the site of the historic Sulphur Dell ballpark.
