Oleksandriia Raion
Oleksandriia Raion is a raion (district) of Kirovohrad Oblast in central Ukraine. The administrative center of the raion is the city of Oleksandriia, which was incorporated separately as a city of regional significance (Ukraine), city of oblast significance and did not belong to the raion prior to 2020. Population: On 18 July 2020, as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, the number of raions of Kirovohrad Oblast was reduced to four, and the area of Oleksandriia Raion was significantly expanded. Three abolished raions, Onufriivka Raion, Onufriivka, Petrove Raion, Petrove, and Svitlovodsk Raions, as well as Oleksandriia Municipality, Oleksandriia and Svitlovodsk Municipality, Svitlovodsk Municipalities, were merged into Oleksandriia Raion. Petrove () or Petrovo () is a rural settlement in Oleksandriia Raion of Kirovohrad Oblast (region) of Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Petrove settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: . Pantaivka (; ) is a rural settlement in Oleksandriia Raion of Kirovohrad Oblast in Ukraine. It is located in the steppe, about west of the city of Oleksandriia. Pantaivka hosts the administration of Pantaivka settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: History Until 18 July 2020, Pantaivka belonged to Oleksandriia Municipality. Urban-type Settlement
Urban-type settlement, abbreviated: ; , abbreviated: ; ; ; ; . is an official designation for lesser urbanized settlements, used in several Central and Eastern Europe, Central and Eastern European countries. The term was primarily used in the Soviet Union and later also for a short time in People's Republic of Bulgaria, socialist Bulgaria and Polish People's Republic, socialist Poland.
