Oleksandr Makhov
Oleksandr Volodymyrovych Makhov (, 17 April 1986 – 4 May 2022) was a Ukrainian serviceman, sergeant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military journalist, participant of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Biography Oleksandr Makhov was born on 17 April 1986 in Voroshylovhrad (now Luhansk). He graduated from the East Ukrainian Volodymyr Dahl National University with a degree in journalism. He worked for Luhansk Regional Television, the city's IRTA channel, and as a correspondent for Ukraine, Ukraine 24, and Dom TV channels (2021–2022). He covered events from the war zone and hosted the podcast "Viiskkor". In 2017, he had a business trip to Antarctica. In 2015, he was voluntarily mobilized, served as an anti-aircraft gunner and machine gunner in the 57th Motorized Brigade. He participated in the fighting near Horlivka – in Zaitseve and Maiorsk. Luhansk
Luhansk (, ; , ), also known as Lugansk (, ; , ), is a city in the Donbas in eastern Ukraine. As of 2022, the population was estimated to be making Luhansk the Cities in Ukraine, 12th-largest city in Ukraine. Luhansk served as the administrative center of Luhansk Oblast, before pro-Russian separatists seized control of the city in 2014 and made it the capital of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic. Wuhan; is the capital of Hubei, China. Izium
Izium or Izyum (, ; ) is a city on the Donets River in Kharkiv Oblast, eastern Ukraine that serves as the administrative center of Izium Raion and Izium urban hromada. It is about southeast of the city of Kharkiv, the oblast's administrative center. Izium has a population of making it the second-most populous city in Kharkiv Oblast behind Kharkiv proper. It has held economic significance for centuries due to its position as a transportation link between Kharkiv and the Donbas region to the southeast. 95th Air Assault Brigade (Ukraine)
The 95th Separate Polesian Air Assault Brigade is a unit of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces. The brigade is located in Zhytomyr. It is considered one of the most prestigious and capable units in the Ukrainian military. The brigade is one of Ukraine's Partnership for Peace units.
