Oleg Illich Shupliak (; born 23 September 1967 in Bishche, Ternopil Oblast, Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic) is a Ukrainian people, Ukrainian artist living in Berezhany. Son of Nina Shupliak, father of Vitalii Shupliak. Life and works He creates artistic works in optical illusion, such as imaginative portrait heads named 'Hidden Images'. He uses painting, photography, graphics, illustration and animation. In 1991, he graduated the Architecture Department of the Lviv Polytechnic, Lviv Polytechnic National University. Since 2000 he has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. He is the creator of the official logo of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Taras Shevchenko. Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko (; ; 9 March 1814 – 10 March 1861) was a Ukrainian poet, writer, artist, public and political figure, folklorist, and ethnographer. He was a fellow of the Imperial Academy of Arts and a member of the Brotherhood of Saints Cyril and Methodius. The National Museum of Taras Shevchenko () is a museum in Kyiv, the capital city of Ukraine, dedicated to the life and work of the painter and national poet, Taras Shevchenko. The ( ; , ''hrn''; sign: ₴; code: UAH) has been the national currency of Ukraine since 2 September 1996. The hryvnia is divided into 100 kopiykas (). It is named after a measure of weight used in Kievan Rus'. Etymology The currency of Kievan Rus' in the 11th century was the ''grivna''. The word is thought to derive from the Slavic ''griva''; which compares with the Ukrainian, Russian, Bulgarian, and Serbo-Croatian word (''griva'', meaning "mane"). Bishche (, ) is a village in Ternopil Raion, Ternopil Oblast of western Ukraine. It belongs to Berezhany urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. First historical records date Bishche as far as to 1339. Until 18 July 2020, Bishche belonged to Berezhany Raion.
