Oleg Li
Oleg Olegovich Li (; born February 28, 1991) is a Russian professional ice hockey forward who currently plays for Amur Khabarovsk in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Playing career Earlier in his career, Li competed in the KHL for several teams, including Atlant Moscow Oblast, Admiral Vladivostok, Amur Khabarovsk, SKA Saint Petersburg, and Ak Bars Kazan. On May 1, 2018, Amur traded him to SKA Saint Petersburg in return for financial compensation. In the 2019–20 season, after playing just one game for SKA, Li was dealt to Ak Bars Kazan for financial considerations on October 18, 2019. He went on to play 29 games with Ak Bars, tallying three goals and a total of nine points, before concluding the season in the VHL with Bars Kazan. Amur Khabarovsk
Hockey Club Amur (), commonly referred to as the Amur Khabarovsk, is a professional ice hockey club based in Khabarovsk, Russia. It is a member of the Chernyshev Division in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Located in the Russian Far East, the team takes its name from the Amur River, and plays its home games at the Platinum Arena. History Amur Khabarovsk was founded in 1966 as SKA Khabarovsk; it only adopted its current name in 1996, a name that comes from the nearby river Amur. By its location in the Russian Far East, the team is pretty isolated from every other team in the KHL, making rivalries difficult; the nearest KHL team is Admiral Vladivostok. For a long time a lower division dweller, Khabarovsk won the championship of the Soviet League Division 3 in 1989, earning promotion to the upper level. Koryo-saram (; ) or Koryoin () are ethnic Koreans of the post-Soviet states, former Soviet Union, who descend from Koreans that were living in the Russian Far East. Koreans first began settling in the Russian Far East in the late 19th century. Their numbers increased as Koreans fled the Korea under Japanese rule, Japanese colonization of Korea beginning in 1910.
