Old Nick Company
The Old Nick Company, established in 1948, is one of the longest standing theatre companies in Tasmania. It stages the popular annual Uni revue and student 'Summer School' among other smaller productions. Revue
A revue is a type of multi-act popular theatre, theatrical entertainment that combines music, dance, and sketch comedy, sketches. The revue has its roots in 19th century popular entertainment and melodrama but grew into a substantial cultural presence of its own during its golden years from 1916 to 1932. Though most famous for their visual spectacle, revues frequently satirized contemporary figures, news or literature. Similar to the related subforms of operetta and musical theatre, the revue art form brings together music, dance and sketches to create a compelling show. In contrast to these, however, revue does not have an overarching storyline. Essie Davis

Charles Wooley
Charles Wooley (born 12 October 1948) is a British-born Australian journalist, reporter, writer, TV personality and radio presenter who reported for Channel Nine's ''60 Minutes''. Early life and career Wooley was born on the Isle of Arran in Scotland, and moved to Launceston, Tasmania, aged three. At the age of 16 Wooley moved to Hobart where he gained an honours degree in history from the University of Tasmania. Helene Chung Martin
Helene Dorothy Chung (born 20 January 1945), journalist and author (also known as Helene Chung Martin), is a former Beijing correspondent, the first female posted abroad by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). She was formerly an adjunct research fellow at Monash Asia Institute, Melbourne, and is the author of ''Shouting from China, Gentle John My Love My Loss, Lazy Man in China ''and her most recent memoir, '' Ching Chong China Girl'', which is also an e-book. Roger Hodgman
Roger Hodgman (born 1 December 1943) is an Australian stage and television director. He was educated at the Hutchins School and the University of Tasmania, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science in 1966, and an Honours degree in History in 1972. After beginning his career as a television director with the ABC in 1965, Hodgman worked in London between 1971 and 1977 where he taught acting at East 15 Acting School. He worked in Canada from 1977 to 1983, including as Artistic Director of the Vancouver Playhouse for three years from 1978 to 1981 where he collaborated with Tennessee Williams on productions of Williams' later plays '' The Red Devil Battery Sign'' and '' The Notebook of Trigorin''.
