Woolloomooloo
Woolloomooloo ( ) is a harbourside, inner-city eastern suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, 1.5 kilometres east of the central business district, in the local government area of the City of Sydney. It is in a low-lying, former docklands area at the head of Woolloomooloo Bay, on Sydney Harbour. The Domain sits to the west, the locality of East Sydney is near the south-west corner of the suburb and the locality of Kings Cross is near the south-east corner. Jeremy Cumpston (born ) is an Australian doctor, actor and director, best known for his work as Connor Costello in Australian hospital drama ''All Saints'' (1998 to 2001). Early life and education Jeremy Cumpston was born around 1967 in Darwin, Australia, to Noelene and Trevor Cumpston. Noelene's mother was Afghan- Aboriginal of Barkandji heritage, and her father was a white Australian, the head doctor of the New Broken Hill Mines. Trevor was a radiographer based in Darwin working on a program to provide X-ray screenings for tuberculosis in remote Aboriginal communities when Jeremy was born, three and a half years after his sister art photographer and curator Nici Cumpston. Tamarama Rock Surfers
The Tamarama Rock Surfers was an independent theatre company that operated out of the Old Fitzroy Theatre in Sydney, Australia, and beyond. After 18 years, the group ceased trading in December 2015 due to lack of funding. History The Tamarama Rock Surfers were founded in December 1994 by Jeremy Cumpston, Zena Cumptson and Michael Gwynne. When they produced the James Gaddas play ''Shadow Boxing'' in Adelaide at the Kings Theatre, with Jeremy Cumpston in the lead role. The idea for the company came about when Jeremy, Zena and Michael, dreamed of a stand alone independent theatre company making theatre beyond mainstream stages.
