Olav Djupvik
Olav Djupvik (5 February 1931 – 31 May 2016) was a Norwegian politician with the Christian Democratic Party. He was born in Blaker as a teacher's son, and spent his professional career as a schoolteacher in Oslo, Askim, Rendalen and Lillehammer. He was a member of the executive committee of the municipal council of Lillehammer Municipality from 1971 to 1979. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Oppland Oppland is a former county in Norway which existed from 1781 until its dissolution on 1 January 2020. Oppland Politicians
Oppland is a former county in Norway which existed from 1781 until its dissolution on 1 January 2020. The old Oppland county bordered the counties of Trøndelag, Møre og Romsdal, Sogn og Fjordane, Buskerud, Akershus, Oslo and Hedmark. The county administration was located in the town of Lillehammer. Merger On 1 January 2020, the neighboring counties of Oppland and Hedmark were merged to form the new Innlandet county. Both Oppland and Hedmark were the only landlocked counties of Norway, and the new Innlandet county is the only landlocked county in Norway. The two counties had historically been one county that was divided in 1781. Historically, the region was commonly known as "Opplandene". Blaker is a village and a former municipality of Akershus county, Norway. History The municipality was established on 1 July 1919, when Aurskog was split in two. At the time of establishment, Blaker had a population of 2,533. On 1 January 1962, Blaker with its then 2,345 inhabitants was merged with Sørum to form the new Sørum municipality.
