Okaro White (born August 13, 1992) is an American professional basketball player for BC Zenit Saint Petersburg, Zenit Saint Petersburg of the VTB United League. He played college basketball for Florida State Seminoles men's basketball, Florida State. Early life White was born in Brooklyn, New York, on August 13, 1992, and has an older brother and sister. His mother, Charmaine White, ran track and field, track for the Jamaica national team. As a preteen, his family moved to Clearwater, Florida, to be close to his grandmother. In eighth grade, he experienced a growth spurt, growing five-and-a-half inches in the summer. White was named Pinellas County's Basketball Player of the Year as a senior at Clearwater High School. BC Zenit Saint Petersburg (), formerly known as BC Dynamo Moscow Region (2003–2007) and BC Triumph Lyubertsy (2007–2014), is a Russian professional basketball team that is located in Saint Petersburg, Russia, since 2014. VTB United League
The VTB United League () is an international professional men's club basketball league that was founded in 2009. It is made up of mostly Russian clubs, along with one each from Belarus and Kazakhstan. Since 2013, it is the first tier of Russian professional club basketball.
