Oisin Fagan
Oisín Fagan, (born 24 December 1973) nicknamed ''"Gael Force"'', is an Irish former professional boxer based in Dublin, Ireland. He fought in the light welterweight and lightweight divisions. Background Although a native Dubliner from Tallaght, Oisín (pronounced "Usheen" ) Fagan is based in Oklahoma. He is a grade school teacher by profession. At the age of 12, Fagan moved to Portmarnock and began to play for a number of football clubs such as, Glebe North, St. Malachy's and Portmarnock F.C. Fagan then travelled to the US on a football (soccer) scholarship to undertake Bachelor's degrees in Physical Education and Political Journalism at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. Jeff Thomas (born 30 October 1981) is a British professional boxer. Thomas fought at light welterweight and was a challenger for the Irish light welterweight title and the British Masters super featherweight and light welterweight titles. Background Thomas was born in Dordrecht but was raised in Feltham, London where he attended St Laurence's RC Primary, Feltham and St Edmunds RC Primary, Whitton. Peter McDonagh (born 22 December 1977) is an Irish professional boxer. Controversial Irish title fight against Michael Gomez McDonagh fought Michael Gomez on 28 January 2006 for the Irish lightweight title on the undercard of a Bernard Dunne fight at the National Stadium, Dublin, Ireland. Gomez had been out of the ring for almost a year and was due to fight Scottish Willie Limond for the WBU lightweight title but turned down that opportunity for a chance to fight for an Irish title.
