Ohé En Laak
Ohé en Laak is a village in the province of Limburg, Netherlands , Terminology of the Low Countries, informally Holland, is a country in Northwestern Europe, with Caribbean Netherlands, overseas territories in the Caribbean. It is the largest of the four constituent countries of the Kingdom of the Nether ..., which has been subsumed into the municipality of Maasgouw. The village used to be home to several castles, one of which is Hasseltholt which is popularly called "Het Geudje". The other was the castle of Walburg. This castle was ruined and is fully removed now. The soccer team is called Walburgia. Furthermore, there is a renovated windmill called "De Hompesche molen". In the past this windmill was used for milling wheat and corn flour. The village of Ohé en Laak has got a yacht harbour at the river Maas and currently there are three campsites. Limburg (; ), also known as Dutch Limburg, is the southernmost of the twelve provinces of the Netherlands. It is bordered by Gelderland to the north and by North Brabant to the west. Maasgouw () is a municipality in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is located on both banks of the river Meuse southwest of the city of Roermond. It was formed in a merger of the former municipalities of Heel, Maasbracht and Thorn on 1 January 2007. Echt (Limburg)
Echt (; ) is a city in the Dutch municipality of Echt-Susteren in the province of Limburg, Netherlands. It was a municipality itself until it merged with the municipality of Susteren on 1 January 2003. The municipality of Echt had about 19,300 inhabitants and an area of about 75,13 square km. History First recorded in the 7th century, Echt was a village, then within the County of Loon. Between 928 and 939 Gerberga of Saxony gave the estate of "Ettha" and its church to the St Servatius community in Maastricht.
