Oh Henry
Oh Henry! was an American candy bar containing peanuts, caramel, and fudge coated in chocolate, sold in the U.S. until 2019. A slightly different version of it is still manufactured and sold in Canada. The original version is still sold in the U.S. by Hershey, under the name Rally. History There are multiple versions of the Oh Henry! bar origin story. The manufacturer Nestlé says that the bar was introduced by George Williamson and his Williamson Candy Company of Chicago in 1920 in the United States. The most popular alternate story, aside from the Canadian origin claimed by chocolatier Wilson McCutchan, is that Thomas Henry, manager of the Peerless Candy Co. in Arkansas City, Kansas, invented a bar he called the "Tom Henry Bar" in the late 1910s, and sold the recipe to George Williamson in 1920. There is no credible documentation of this story. There are other alternate accounts of the origin of the name of the bar. One theory is that of a boy named Henry who frequented Geo ...

A flat, easily breakable, chocolate bar is also called a tablet. In some varieties of English and food labeling standards, the term ''chocolate bar'' is reserved for bars of solid chocolate, with '' candy bar'' used for products with additional ingredients. The manufacture of a chocolate bar from raw cocoa ingredients requires many steps, from grinding and refining, to conching and tempering. All these processes have been independently developed by chocolate manufacturers from different countries. There is therefore no precise moment when the first chocolate bar came into existence. Solid chocolate was already consumed in the 18th century. The 19th century saw the emergence of the modern chocolate industry; most manufacturing techniques used today were invented during this period. Dark, milk and white are the main three t ...

Canadian “Oh Henry!” Bar Split
Canadians () are people identified with the country of Canada. This connection may be residential, legal, historical or cultural. For most Canadians, many (or all) of these connections exist and are collectively the source of their being ''Canadian''. Following the initial period of French and then the much larger British colonization, different waves (or peaks) of immigration and settlement of non-indigenous peoples took place over the course of nearly two centuries and continue today. Elements of Indigenous, French, British, and more recent immigrant customs, languages, and religions have combined to form the culture of Canada, and thus a Canadian identity and Canadian values.
