Officer Duck
''Officer Duck'' is a Donald Duck short film which is produced in Technicolor and released September 22, 1939 by RKO Radio Pictures. This cartoon marked the first appearance of Pete in a ''Donald Duck'' series cartoon. Plot Police officer Donald Duck is asked to capture a terrible villain named Tiny Tom (Pete). Donald starts his mission by finding Tom's decrepit house. Donald nervously tells Tom—who is much bigger and stronger than Donald—that he is under arrest. Tom angrily kicks Donald out. Donald decides to use a different strategy by pretending to be an orphan who was abandoned, and subsequently gains Tom's sympathy. When Tom spots handcuffs in the baby crib, Donald shakes them noisily, convincing Tom that the handcuffs are being used a baby rattle. As Tom continues to play with Donald as if he were a baby, Donald repeatedly tries and fails to steal the gun from Tom's pocket. Clyde Geronimi
Clito "Clyde" Geronimi (June 12, 1901 – April 24, 1989), known as Gerry, was an American animation director. He is best known for his work at Walt Disney Productions. Biography Geronimi was born in Chiavenna, Italy, immigrating to the United States as a young child. Geronimi's earliest work in the animation field was for the J.R. Bray Studios, where he worked with Walter Lantz. Upon the dissolution of the Bray Studio in 1928, Geronimi followed Lantz to his own studio, Walter Lantz Productions, producing Cartoons for Universal Pictures. Geronimi left Lantz in 1931 to join Walt Disney Productions, where he remained until 1959. Geronimi started off in the shorts department as an animator, eventually becoming a director. His 1941 short, '' Lend a Paw'', won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film. Clarence Nash
Clarence Charles "Ducky" Nash (December 7, 1904 – February 20, 1985) was an American voice actor. He was best known as the original voice of the Disney cartoon character Donald Duck. He was born in the rural community of Watonga, Oklahoma, and a street in that town is named in his honor. In 1993, he was posthumously made a Disney Legend for his contributions to Walt Disney films. Career Nash made a name for himself in the late 1920s as an impressionist for KHJ, a Los Angeles radio station, on their show, ''The Merrymakers''. He later was employed by the Adohr Milk Company for publicity purposes. Dubbed "Whistling Clarence, the Adohr Bird Man", Nash rode the streets with a team of miniature horses and gave treats to the children. In 1932, Nash happened by the Disney Studio with his team of horses, and decided to leave a copy of his Adohr publicity sheet with the receptionist.
