Odunke
Odunke was a festival traditionally celebrated in Awka-Etiti, and Oraukwu in Anambra State, Nigeria from ancient times. The festival seems to be peculiar to these towns in Igboland. The Odunke may be described as a huge carnival with a grand ceremony and feasting as well as a display of material wealth, opulence and social status incorporating all the arts of the community in a harmonious relationship. The festival served as name giver for a talented group of Biafran artists of the University of Biafra (later the University of Nigeria) Nsukka, called the Odunke Community of Artists. Awka-Etiti
Awka-Etiti, historically known as ''Awka-Diedo'' (); later mentioned as ''Awka-Nkakwu'' (''Okankaku'') by colonial authors, is an affluent town comprising seven villages in Idemili South local government area of Anambra state, Nigeria. The seven villages of Awka-Etiti in order of age established are: Nkolofia, Umunocha, Ejighinandu, Iruowelle, Umudunu, Nnaba and Ogunzele. The indigenous population of Awka-Etiti belong to the Igbo ethnic group and the town is situated within the Igbo cultural area 24 km from the river Niger, north-east of Onitsha,Dallah E.R. and Nzewi E.C:(1996) p.2 16 km from Nri and 2 km from Igbo-Ukwu. Oraukwu is a town in Anambra State, Nigeria. It used to be called Ohaukwu. It is among the towns in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, and lies approximately 40 kilometers east of Onitsha along the old Enugu Enugu ( ; ) is the capital city of Enugu State in Nigeria. It is located in southeastern part of Nigeria. The city had a population of 820,000 according to the 2022 Nigerian census. Anambra State

Igboland
Igboland ( Standard ), also known as Southeastern Nigeria (but extends into South-Southern Nigeria), is the indigenous homeland of the Igbo people. Biafra
Biafra, officially the Republic of Biafra, was a partially recognised secessionist state in West Africa that declared independence from Nigeria and existed from 1967 until 1970. Igbo Calendar
The Igbo calendar () is the traditional calendar system of the Igbo people from present-day Nigeria. The calendar has 13 months in a year (''afo''), 7 weeks in a month (''onwa''), and 4 days of Igbo market days (afor, nkwo, eke, and orie) in a week (''izu'') plus an extra day at the end of the year, in the last month. The name of these months was reported by Onwuejeogwu (1981). Although worship and spirit honoring was a very big part in the creation and development of the Igbo calendar system, commerce also played a major role in creating the Igbo calendar. Kingdom Of Nri
The Kingdom of Nri () was a medieval polity located in what is now Nigeria. The kingdom existed as a sphere of religious and political influence over a third of Igboland, and was administered by a priest-king called an ''Eze Nri''. The ''Eze Nri'' managed trade and diplomacy on behalf of the Nri people, a subgroup of the Igbo-speaking people, and possessed divine authority in religious matters.
