Originally syndicated by Premiere Networks, the show moved to Cumulus Media Networks (now Westwood One) at the beginning of 2014. William Sleator
William Warner Sleator III (February 13, 1945 – August 3, 2011), known as William Sleator, was an American science fiction author who wrote primarily young adult novels but also wrote for younger readers. His books typically deal with adolescents coming across a peculiar phenomenon related to an element of theoretical science, then trying to deal with the situation. The theme of family relationships, especially between siblings, is frequently intertwined with the science fiction plotline. Due to the suspenseful and often eerie nature of some of his works, Sleator has been compared to young-adult horror writer R. L. Stine (who has identified himself as a fan of Sleator's work). ''Oddballs'' is a compilation album by Frank Black, released in 2000. The album includes various B-sides and outtakes that were recorded between 1994 and 1997. The album was only available for sale at Frank Black & the Catholics shows or on eMusic. It was out of print until July 2013 when the album became available on compact disc through Black's own label the Bureau. The vinyl record was released in October 2013. Background Most of the tracks were released in Europe as either B-sides or bonus tracks except "Jumping Beans", which is previously unreleased, and "Man of Steel", which was originally released on the various artists compilation album ''Songs in the Key of X''. All tracks were recorded between 1994 and 1997 in Los Angeles and New York City. Oddballs Apparel Limited is a clothing brand that manufactures and sells branded underwear, socks, sports jerseys (incl. football and rugby tops) as well as other sportswear and accessories with the aim of raising awareness around testicular cancer. The company was founded in 2014 with the aim of raising awareness around testicular cancer and achieved this through frequent exposure and unique underwear designs.
