Odd Reidar Humlegård
Odd Reidar Humlegård (born 9 May 1961, in Porsgrunn) is a Norwegian lawyer, civil servant who served as the National Police Commissioner between 2012 and 2018. Humlegård previously served as head of the National Criminal Investigation Service, and was appointed as director to the National Police Directorate in August 2012 after the controversial resignation of Øystein Mæland. Career Humlegård first joined the Norwegian police in 1984, after graduating from Norwegian Police University College, having previously received officer's training at the Military Academy. He later enrolled in- and graduated from law school in 1992. From 2003 he served as head of the National Mobile Police Service, before he was appointed to the National Criminal Investigation Service in 2009. He was responsible for the investigation of many high-profile cases during his tenure, such as The Pocket Man in 2009. National Criminal Investigation Service (Norway)
The National Criminal Investigation Service (, previously ''Kriminalpolitisentralen''), commonly known as Kripos, is a special agency of the Norwegian Police Service. National Police Directorate () is a government agency subordinate to the Ministry of Justice and Public Security which heads the Norwegian Police Service. The directorate is led by the National Police Commissioner (Politidirektør), who since 2012 has been Odd Reidar Humlegård. In Norway there is only one police force. Øystein Mæland
Øystein Mæland (born 26 March 1960) is a Norwegian psychiatrist, civil servant and politician for the Norwegian Labour Party, Labour Party. In 2011, Mæland was appointed director of the National Police Directorate, a position he retained until August 2012 when he resigned in the wake of the Gjørv Report. He has since 2014 been director of Akershus University Hospital. Early life and education Mæland was born in Rjukan in Telemark county in 1960 to parents Einar and Bjørg Mæland, but grew up in the neighborhood of Hoff in the borough of Ullern in Oslo. His father was a Shop foreman, plant foreman at Ringnes brewery, his mother attended to the office of the Norwegian Union of Municipal Employees. The Norwegian Police University College (; PHS) is a public university college located in Oslo, Kongsvinger, Stavern and Bodø, Norway. The Pocket Man
Erik Andersen (born 20 March 1952), also referred to in the media as The Pocket Man (in Norwegian "Lommemannen"), is a convicted Norwegian child molester from Bergen. He was arrested in 2008, accused of molesting hundreds of children since 1976, and in 2010, he was convicted and sentenced to preventive detention with a minimum term of 9 years, with the possibility of extension for as long as he is deemed a danger to society.
