Odd Emil Ingebrigtsen (born 8 October 1964) is a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party (Norway), Conservative Party. He served as Minister of Fisheries from 2020 to 2021. Personal life He is married to Grete Bang Ingebrigtsen. Political career Youth wing From 1986 to 1988 he was the secretary general of the Norwegian Young Conservatives, Young Conservatives (''Unge Høyre''), the youth wing of the Conservative Party. Local politics On the local level he was a member of Bodø city council from 1988 to 2007, and chaired the local party chapter from 1985 to 1987. He also chaired the local chapter in an acting capacity between July and October 1991. On 29 June 2022, he was announced as the Bodø Conservatives' mayoral candidate in the upcoming 2023 Norwegian local elections, 2023 local elections. The Minister of Fisheries is a councilor of state in the Ministry of Fisheries and Coastal Affairs (Norway). The incumbent minister is Bjørnar Skjæran of the Labour Party. The position was created 1 July 1946. Between 2004 and 2013 the minister held the name of Minister of Fisheries and Coastal Affairs reflecting a broadening in responsibility for the ministry. When Solberg's Cabinet took office, the minister was again called Minister of Fisheries and did no longer have responsibilities for coastal affairs. #MeToo is a social movement against sexual abuse, sexual harassment, and rape culture, in which people publicize their experiences of sexual abuse or sexual harassment. The phrase "Me Too" was initially used in this context on social media in 2006, on Myspace, by sexual assault survivor and activist Tarana Burke. Harvard University published a case study on Burke, called "Leading with Empathy: Tarana Burke and the Making of the Me Too Movement" (2020). The hashtag ''#MeToo'' was used starting in 2017 as a way to draw attention to the magnitude of the problem. Svalbard ( , ), also known as Spitsbergen, or Spitzbergen, is a Norway, Norwegian archipelago in the Arctic Ocean.
