Odahuttidavaru
''Odahuttidavaru'' () is a 1994 Indian Kannada-language romantic drama film directed by Dorai–Bhagavan and was jointly written by S. K Bhagavan and Chi. Udaya Shankar. The film stars veteran actors Rajkumar and Ambareesh in lead roles, along with Madhavi, Srishanti, Vajramuni and K. S. Ashwath in supporting roles. The film revolves around the two farmer brothers who undergo many traumas in their relationships due to external forces and fight them to reunite again. The film was produced and distributed by S. P. Varadaraj under the banner of Sri Lakshmi Art Combines. The film marked the final script of Chi. Udaya Shankar was released after his death on 2 July 1993. Vijaya Naarasimha (16 January 1927 – 31 October 2001) was an Indian lyricist who worked in Kannada cinema. Career Naarasimha's first Kannada film song was "Yee Dehadinda Dooranaade" (Oh soul, why did you depart this body) for the 1956 film '' Ohileshwara''. He worked with filmmaker Puttanna Kanagal and music director Vijaya Bhaskar. He worked with major singers and music directors throughout the 1960s, 70s, and 80s, including on some Kannada films with Tamil actor Rajinikanth. His last film was'' Odahuttidavaru''. Dorai–Bhagavan were an Indian filmmaking duo consisting of directors B. Dorai Raj (died 2000) and S. K. Bhagavan (5 July 1933 – 20 February 2023), active mainly in Kannada cinema. The duo directed twenty seven films together, most of which starred Dr. Rajkumar, Rajkumar and were highly successful at box-office. Fourteen of them were based on Kannada novels. Malavalli Huchchegowda Amarnath (29 May 1952 – 24 November 2018), known by his screen name Ambareesh, was an Indian actor, media personality, politician from the state of Karnataka. Upendra Kumar (18 July 1941 – 24 January 2002) was an Indian composer who predominantly worked in Kannada films. He was known for his strong association with Rajkumar and his family and scored some of his career best compositions for the films featuring Rajkumar and his sons. Sadananda Sagar (10 May 1944 – 5 January 2006), better known by his stage name Vajramuni, was an Indian actor who appeared in Kannada films.
