Obertauern
Obertauern is a tourist destination which is located in the Radstädter Tauern in the Salzburger Land of Austria. The winter sports resort is separated in two communities: Tweng and Untertauern. Geography Obertauern lies in the southeast of the state of Salzburg in the Radstädter Tauern mountains at heights of between 1,630 and 2,526 metres above sea level. The village is near to the highest point of the Radstädter Tauern Pass over which the Katschberg road (''Katschberger Straße'', the B 99) runs. Obertauern belongs to two districts: St. Johann/Pongau and Tamsweg, hence why the community is separated into the two municipalities of Untertauern (Pongau) and Tweng (Lungau). The municipal boundary runs at the height of the pass and hence through the centre of the village. Radstädter Tauern
The Radstadt Tauern (german: Radstädter Tauern) are a subrange of the Central Eastern Alps in Austria. Together with the Schladming Tauern, the Rottenmann and Wölz Tauern and the Seckau Tauern the Radstadt Tauern form the major range of mountains known as the Low Tauern. The mountains are found in the southeast of the Austrian state of Salzburg, between the upper reaches of the Enns and Mur rivers. Geography Location The Radstadt Tauern form the westernmost part of the Low Tauern range. They are bounded to the southwest by the High Tauern, to the northwest by the Salzburg Pongau region, and to the east by the Schladming Tauern. Their name is derived from the historic town of Radstadt in the Enns valley. Untertauern
Untertauern is a municipality in the district of St. Johann im Pongau in the Austrian state of Salzburg. Geography Untertauern is situated in the Salzburg Pongau region in the valley of the Northern Taurach, a right tributary of the Enns river, about south of Radstadt. The parallel road runs up to Radstädter Tauern Pass, separating the Radstadt Tauern range in the west from the Schladming Tauern in the east. Here the Obertauern ski resort stretches to neighbouring Tweng in the Salzburg Lungau region. History The road up to Radstädter Tauern Pass was already used by Celtic Taurisci tribes about 200 BC. Later a Roman road led across the Alpine crest, which was rebuilt under the rule of Emperor Septimius Severus (193–211 AD). ''Help!'' is a 1965 British musical comedy-adventure film directed by Richard Lester, starring The Beatles and featuring Leo McKern, Eleanor Bron, Victor Spinetti, John Bluthal, Roy Kinnear and Patrick Cargill. The second film starring the Beatles following Lester's '' A Hard Day's Night'', ''Help!'' sees the group struggle to protect Ringo Starr from a sinister eastern cult and a pair of mad scientists, all of whom are obsessed with obtaining a sacrificial ring sent to him by a fan. The soundtrack was released as the band's fifth studio album under the same name. ''Help!'' had its Royal World Premiere at the London Pavilion Theatre in the West End of London on 29 July 1965 in the presence of Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon and the Earl of Snowdon.
