Kunoichi (TV Series)
''Kunoichi'' (; stylized as ''女 '' in Japan) is a women's obstacle course competition held in Japan and broadcast on the Tokyo Broadcasting System. It is a spin-off of ''Sasuke (TV series), Sasuke'', another obstacle course series. ''Kunoichi'' is different from ''Sasuke'' in that the competitors are exclusively female. The show is re-broadcast as ''Women of Ninja Warrior'' on the American G4 (American TV network), G4 channel. It originally ran for 8 tournaments between 2001 and 2009 with the first tournament held as ''Kinniku Banzuke'' special. In 2017, after an 8-year hiatus, it was renewed for a 9th tournament which aired on February 12, 2017. During his senior gymnastics career he won 31 medals at Olympic Games at World and European Championships, of which eight are gold medals at the World Championships and ten are gold medals at European Championships. Svetlana Vasilyevna Khorkina (; born 19 January 1979) is a retired Russian artistic gymnast. Aura Andreea Munteanu (; born 20 September 1988), known as Andreea Munteanu, is a retired Romanian gymnast. Career Munteanu became interested in gymnastics in 1994 after watching a competition on television. She began using her mother's bed as a makeshift vault, prompting her parents to enroll her for lessons at the CSS Farul Constanţa club. She progressed well in the sport and was accepted to train at the national training center in Deva in October 2002. Less than a year after beginning her training at Deva, in 2003, Munteanu became the Romanian national champion.
