Oakville Transit is the public transportation provider in Oakville, Ontario, Oakville, Ontario, Canada since 1972. It is a department of the town and a member of the Canadian Urban Transit Association. It offers the typical conventional Bus#Tourist.2C public transport, bus service, a para-transit service called ''care-A-van,'' and two on-demand shared ride services in North and Southeast Oakville; Home to Hub and the Ride On-Demand Pilot program. The care-A-van and Ride On-Demand services take riders directly to a specific address while the Home to Hub service takes riders to designated transit hubs near their location. The original logo for Oakville Transit, no longer in use, was by designer Stuart Ash. Oakville GO Station is a GO Transit railway station and bus station in Oakville, Ontario, Oakville, Ontario, Canada. It is colocated and shares platforms with Via Rail's Oakville railway station. It is a stop on GO's Lakeshore West line train service and, until October 2007, served as the western terminus for weekend service. On weekdays, one branch of the Ontario Highway 407, Highway 407 GO bus service, that connects with Sheridan College, Square One Bus Terminal, Bramalea GO Station, and Highway 407 station, Highway 407 Bus Terminal terminates at this station. Bronte GO Station
Bronte GO Station is a train station in the GO Transit network located in Oakville, Ontario, Oakville, Ontario, Canada. It is a stop on the Lakeshore West line and there is an adjacent bus loop for connecting local Oakville Transit bus routes. In September 2008 the station parking lot was expanded with a new entrance on Wyecroft Road. In January 2011, approximately 175 spaces were made available in the south lot which can be entered from Speers Road. When the project is completed the south lot will provide 300 parking spaces, with stairs and ramps to the platforms. A Bronte Station Master Plan was completed in 2013, with key recommendations to be coordinated with ongoing improvements. Lakeshore West Line
Lakeshore West is one of the GO Transit rail services, seven passenger lines of the GO Transit system in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, Canada. MiWay (; stylized MiWay), also known as Mississauga Transit and originally as Mississauga Transit Systems, is the municipal public transport agency serving Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, and is responsible to the city's Transportation and Works Department.
