Gasoline Particulate Filter
A diesel particulate filter (DPF) is a device designed to remove diesel exhaust#Particulates, diesel particulate matter or soot from the exhaust gas of a diesel engine.Tom Nash (May 2003) "Diesels: The Smoke is clearing", ''Motor '' Vol.199 No. 5, p. 54, Hearst Business Publishing Inc. Mode of action Wall-flow diesel particulate filters usually remove 85% or more of the soot, and under certain conditions can attain soot removal efficiencies approaching 100%. Some filters are single-use, intended for disposal and replacement once full of accumulated ash. Others are designed to burn off the accumulated particulate either passively through the use of a catalyst or by active means such as a fuel burner which heats the filter to soot combustion temperatures. This is accomplished by engine programming to run (when the filter is full) in a manner that elevates exhaust temperature, in conjunction with an extra fuel injector in the exhaust stream that injects fuel to react with a catalys ... OEB Package Format
Open eBook (OEB), or formally, the Open eBook Publication Structure (OEBPS), is a legacy e-book format which has been superseded by the EPUB format. It was "based primarily on technology developed by SoftBook Press" and on XML. OEB was released with a free version belonging to public domain and a full version to be used with or without DRM by the publishing industry. Open eBook is a ZIP file plus a Manifest file. Inside the package a defined subset of XHTML may be used, along with CSS and Dublin Core metadata. The default file extension is .opf (OEB Package Format). Specification release history * September 2007 – ''Open Publication Structure (OPS) 2.0, EPUB. Released, supersedes the OEBPS 1.2'' * August 2002 – ''OEBPS 1.2 Recommended Specification Released'' * June 2001 – ''OEBPS 1.0.1 replaces OEBPS 1.0'' * September 1999 – ''Open eBook Publication Structure (OEBPS) 1.0 released'' Reader software * SoftBook * Adobe Digital Editions * FBReader – GPL e-book reader for U ... Optimal Power Flow
Electrical power system simulation involves power system modeling and network simulation in order to analyze electrical power systems using design/offline or real-time data. Power system simulation software's are a class of computer simulation programs that focus on the operation of electrical power systems. These types of computer programs are used in a wide range of planning and operational situations for electric power systems. Applications of power system simulation include: long-term generation and transmission expansion planning, short-term operational simulations, and market analysis (e.g. price forecasting). These programs typically make use of mathematical optimization techniques such linear programming, quadratic programming, and mixed integer programming. Multiple elements of a power system can be modelled. A power-flow study calculates the loading on transmission lines and the power necessary to be generated at generating stations, given the required loads to be served. ... Oceania Pickleball Federation
This list of pickleball organizations identifies key organizations around the world that promote or support the sport of pickleball. USA Pickleball USA Pickleball, established in 1984, was the first organization to provide oversight of the sport. It was the de facto world governing body for pickleball until the International Federation of Pickleball was established in 2010. Initially named the United States Amateur Pickleball Association (USAPA), it reorganized as the USA Pickleball Association (USAPA) in 2005. The organization adopted the name USA Pickleball (USAP) in 2020. USAPA published the first official rule book in 1984, and published the ''USA Pickleball Association Official Tournament Rulebook'' in 2008. USAP's annually updated rulebook continues to be referenced as the official rule book for most recreational games and amateur tournaments around the world. Worldwide governing bodies International Pickleball Federation The International Federation of Pickleball (IFP) was ...
