''O.N.I.F.C.'' is the fourth studio album by American rapper Wiz Khalifa. The album was released on December 4, 2012, by Atlantic Records and Rostrum Records. The album's title was inspired by the album ''H.N.I.C. (Prodigy album), H.N.I.C.'' by Prodigy (rapper), Prodigy of Mobb Deep, and is an initialism for "Only Nigga In First Class". Upon release, ''O.N.I.F.C.'' received generally mixed reviews from contemporary music critics. The album debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200 selling 148,000 copies in its first week. Cameron Jibril Thomaz (born September 8, 1987), better known by his stage name Wiz Khalifa, is an American rapper, singer-songwriter and actor. Raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he signed with the local independent label Rostrum Records to release his debut studio album, ''Show and Prove'' (2006). Produced by Dpat and Illangelo, the song samples " Tell Me Do U Wanna" by Ginuwine. It was released on September 24, 2012, by Atlantic's YouTube channel. Background After delaying the album, Wiz Khalifa announced the second single of it, which is ''Remember You''. He revealed the single's cover on his Twitter account, and it was later released on Atlantic's YouTube channel. In an interview with MTV News MTV News was the news production division of MTV. Ronald Nathan LaTour Jr. (born September 24, 1984), professionally known as Cardo Got Wings or simply Cardo, is an American record producer and rapper. Early life and career Cardo was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. He then moved to Fort Worth, Texas. In 2010, Cardo was producing for Mac Miller and Chevy Woods and subsequently met Wiz Khalifa at a show in Texas through Chevy Woods and his uncle Motor.
