Nye Borgerliges Ungdom
Nye Borgerliges Ungdom (NBU) is the youth wing of the Danish political party Nye Borgerlige. It was founded in 2015 as "Unge Nye Borgerlige" and changed to its present name the following year. Nye Borgerliges Ungdom is Nye Borgerlige's official youth organization, which was founded in 2015. In March 2024, the youth party shut down itself in the wake of the dissolution of Nye Borgerlige's parliamentary group, but after the election of Martin Henriksen as chairman of Nye Borgerlige, the youth organization was restored in June 2024 with Joacchim Godtfred Foged Brahtz as new chairman. National Conservatism
National conservatism is a nationalist variant of conservatism that concentrates on upholding national and cultural identity, communitarianism and the public role of religion. It shares aspects of traditionalist conservatism and social conservatism, while departing from economic liberalism and libertarianism, as well as taking a more pragmatic approach to regulatory economics and protectionism. 2021 Danish Local Elections
Local elections were held in 2021 for Denmark, Denmark's Municipalities of Denmark, 98 municipal councils and Regions of Denmark, five regional councils. TV 2 (Denmark)
TV 2 is a Danish government-owned broadcast and subscription television station, based in Odense, Funen. The station was founded in 1986, and made its first official broadcast in 1988. It makes daily broadcasts of regional and national news, as well as its morning talk show, '' Go'morgen Danmark''. History Since 1949, Danmarks Radio had been the sole provider of television in Denmark. Wanting to end the monopoly, the Danish Parliament voted on 30 May 1986, to create TV2, as a second choice for public service television. Danish People's Party
The Danish People's Party (DPP; , DF) is a nationalist and right-wing populist political party in Denmark. It was formed in 1995 by former members of the Progress Party (FrP). The party saw a period of significant growth after its founding and lent its support to the – Conservative People's Party coalition government that ruled from the general election of 2001 until the 2011 election defeat. While not part of the cabinet, DF cooperated closely with the governing coalition on most issues and received support for key political stances in return, to the point that the government was commonly referred to as the "VKO-government" (O being DF's election symbol). Lars Boje Mathiesen
Lars Boje Mathiesen da (born 21 May 1975) is a Danish politician who has been an independent member of the Danish Parliament, the Folketing, since March 2023. Previously a member of the Nye Borgerlige (New Right) political party before his expulsion in 2023, he was first elected to the Folketing at the 2019 general election for the Nye Borgerlige and again at the 2022 general election. In February 2023, he succeeded Pernille Vermund as leader of the Nye Borgerlige, but was dismissed and expelled from the party in March after disputes over remuneration and campaign finances. Background Boje was born on 21 May 1975 in Skive and is the son of musician Peter Boje Mathiesen and Inge Burmølle Mathiesen.
