Nurul Izzah Anwar
Nurul Izzah binti Anwar ( Jawi: ; born 19 November 1980) is a Malaysian politician who served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Permatang Pauh from 2018 to 2022 and for Lembah Pantai from 2008 to 2018. She is the daughter of Anwar Ibrahim, the current Prime Minister of Malaysia. She was the Co-chairperson of the Secretariat of the Special Advisory Body to the Minister of Finance (ACFIN) serving Tan Sri Hassan Marican between February 2023 and February 2024. She is a member of the People's Justice Party (PKR), a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) and formerly Pakatan Rakyat (PR) coalitions. She has also served as the 6th Deputy President of PKR since May 2025. 2018 Malaysian General Election
General elections were held in Malaysia on Wednesday, 9 May 2018. At stake were all 222 seats in the Dewan Rakyat, the lower house of parliament. Pakatan Rakyat (PR; ) was an informal Malaysian political coalition and successor to Barisan Alternatif (BA).
