Nurul Hasan Sohan
Nurul Hasan Sohan (; born 21 November 1993) is a Bangladeshi cricketer who represents Bangladesh on the international stage in all formats. Sohan is well known in Bangladesh for his keeping skills and great flexibility. Sohan is a wicket-keeper batter and plays as a right-handed batter lower down the order. His main role is a hard-hitting finisher. He was born in Khulna, Bangladesh. In July 2022, he was named as the captain of the Twenty20 International (T20I) team for Bangladesh's tour of Zimbabwe. Domestic career Nurul has played for Sylhet Super Stars in the Bangladesh Premier League in 2015. In October 2015, Nurul posted his highest knock of unbeaten 182 against Dhaka Division in 2015-16 National Cricket League which helped Khulna to fightback in the match after being all out for just 117. 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup
The 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup was the third edition of the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup held in Karachi, Pakistan and Colombo, Sri Lanka. Eight teams participated in the tournament including five under-23 age level teams of Test nations and top three teams from 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier. This tournament was organized by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). Initially, Pakistan was sole host for the tournament but India and BCCI refused to send Indian players to Pakistan. Following the increasing political tensions between India and Pakistan, ACC announced that Sri Lanka would be the co-host whilst India's matches and knockout stage will be played there. Bangladeshi Cricket Team In New Zealand In 2016–17
The Bangladeshi cricket team toured New Zealand from December 2016 to January 2017 to play two Test matches, three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 International (T20Is). Mushfiqur Rahim (; born 9 May 1987) is a Bangladeshi cricketer and the former captain of the Bangladesh national cricket team. He is a right-handed middle-order Batting (cricket), batter and wicket-keeper in the national team. Mushfiqur started his international career in 2005 against England cricket team, England at the age of 18 years and 17 days. He was made to play as a specialist batsman in the first Test match of his career. He thus became the second-youngest, after Sachin Tendulkar, to play Test cricket at Lord's, Lord's Cricket Stadium. The Zimbabwean cricket team toured Bangladesh in November 2015. In January 2016 the BCB confirmed a further four T20I matches to be played later the same month in Bangladesh as preparation for the Asia Cup and the World Twenty20. The 2018–19 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League was an edition of the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, a List A cricket competition that was held in Bangladesh. It was the sixth edition of the tournament with List A status, although almost 35 seasons have been played before achieving the status. It started on 8 March, and concluded on 23 April 2019. The Dhaka Capitals is a professional franchise cricket team that plays in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). They represent Dhaka Division. The team plays their home matches at the SBNCS. Dhaka is one of the most successful BPL franchises, having won three BPL titles in the BPL, it has appeared in 5 finals and qualified for the playoff stages 7 times, the most amongst the BPL teams. The team competes in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) and was one of the six franchises incorporated when the league was established in 2012. The team was originally established in 2012 for the inaugural BPL season as the Dhaka Gladiators, and won both the 2012 and 2013 editions of the tournament.
