Numria Tribe
The Numria, (Numrio, or Noomria) are native Sindhi Rajput tribes of Sindh and Balochistan. The Numria people are principal inhabitants of the Lasbela and Kohistan regions. History They are descended from the ancient Samma and Soomra tribes. The population of the southern and central divisions of the district of Karachi largely composed of Numrias and Jokhias, the latter being an offshoot of the former. The Numrias are of Rajpoot origin. The first famous man of the tribe was Ibrahim Burfat, who flourished about two hundred years ago. His grandson, Izzat Khan, an energetic and ambitious chieftain, got possession of Bela and the province of Las. According to "Mazhar-i-Shah Jehani" the Numrias are originally from Sameja tribe, the nine factions of Sameja tribe broke away from the main tribe and settled in hills, those nine factions were called as Nuhmardi which later corrupted into Numria. Sindhis are an Indo-Aryan ethnic group originating from and native to Sindh, a region of Pakistan, who share a common Sindhi culture, history, ancestry, and language. The historical homeland of Sindhis is bordered by southeastern Balochistan; the Bahawalpur region of Punjab; the Marwar region of Rajasthan; and the Kutch region of Gujarat. Nabi Bakhsh Baloch
Nabi Bakhsh Khan Baloch (; 16 December 1917 – 6 April 2011) was a Sindhi research scholar, historian, sindhologist, educationist, linguist and writer. He predominantly wrote in Sindhi, but also in Urdu, English, Persian and Arabic. He has been described as the "moving library" of the Pakistani province of Sindh. The author of some 150 books, he contributed to many subjects and disciplines of knowledge, which include history, education, folklore, archeology, anthropology, musicology, Islamic culture and civilisation. He contributed two articles - on Sindh and Baluchistan - which appeared in the Fifteenth Edition of ''Encyclopædia Britannica'', 1972. Baloch did pioneering work on the classic poets of Sindh, culminating in the ten-volume critical text of ''Shah Jo Risalo'', the poetic compendium of the Sufi poet of Sindh, Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai. Jakhro
The Jakhro and Jākhro () are two Sindhi Sammat tribes of Sindh, Pakistan. One is a subdivision of the Abro Sammat tribe. Rodani or Rotani, Kakapota, Mirwani, Dhadapota, Sherani, Abapota etc clans of Jakhro are associated with Detho title or nickname Found in Sindh and Balochistan ( Kachhi and Sibi).One of five sons of Jakhro was given a nickname "Detho" due to generosity. Lasi People
The Lasis () are a Sindhi people, Sindhi Ethnicity, ethnic community or group of Sindhi tribes in Balochistan, Pakistan, Balochistan, Pakistan. Burfat
Burfat, Bulfat or Bulfati () is a Sindhi Sammat tribe, originally from the Lasbela and Kirthar (Kohistan) mountains of the Sindh province of Pakistan. Burfats are also found in Iran, Afghanistan and Oman. Jokhio
Jokhio () is a Sindhi Sammat tribe found in Sindh, Pakistan. The Jokhio were considered a powerful tribe and held great political importance in the British Raj Sindh and were granted Jagir by the Raj Government. Soomro
