Nubia (DC Comics)
Nubia is a fictional character appearing in DC Comics publications and related media, commonly as an ally of Wonder Woman. Historically, she is DC Comics' first black female superhero. Originally introduced in 1973 as Diana's long-lost Mixed twins, black fraternal twin sister, today the character is depicted as one of Wonder Woman's oldest and closest friends. Created by Robert Kanigher and Don Heck, Nubia debuted in 1973's ''Wonder Woman (comic book), Wonder Woman'' #204 and appeared intermittently throughout Wonder Woman's Bronze Age of Comics, Bronze Age adventures. Alitha Martinez
Alitha E. Martinez is an American comic book artist best known for her work on for Marvel Comics's ''Iron Man'', the '' Heroes'' webcomics, and DC's ''Batgirl''. Over the course of her career she has worked for all the major comic book publishers, including Marvel, DC Comics, Image Comics, and Archie Comics. Career Martinez attended the School of Visual Arts in the mid-1990s. Super Friends
''Super Friends'' is an American animated television series about a team of superheroes, which ran from 1973 to 1985 on ABC as part of its Saturday-morning cartoon lineup. It was produced by Hanna-Barbera and was based on the Justice League of America and associated comic book characters published by DC Comics. The name of the program (and the Justice League members featured with the Super Friends) has been variously represented (as ''Super Friends'' and '' Challenge of the Superfriends'', for example) at different points in its broadcast history. Supergirl
Supergirl is the name of several fictional superheroines appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The original, current, and most well known Supergirl is Kara Zor-El, the cousin of superhero Superman. The character made her first appearance in ''Action Comics'' #252 (May 1959) and was created by Otto Binder and Al Plastino. Concept Created as a female counterpart to Superman, Kara Zor-El shares her super powers and vulnerability to Kryptonite. Supergirl plays a supporting role in various DC Comics publications, including ''Action Comics'', ''Superman'', and several comic book series unrelated to Superman. In 1969, Supergirl's adventures became the lead feature in '' Adventure Comics,'' and she later starred in an eponymous comic book series which debuted in 1972 and ran until 1974, followed by a second monthly comic book series, ''The Daring New Adventures of Supergirl'', which ran from 1982 to 1984.
