Nowshera, Srinagar
Nowshera ( ; ) is the notified area, near Srinagar in the municipal committee of Srinagar district in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It is also alternatively spelled as ''Nowshehra'' or ''Noushera.'' It is one of the oldest residential places in Srinagar founded by Sultan Zain-ul-Abidin. It is located about 9.9 km towards North from the commercial center of Kashmir. Soura
Soura (), known as Sovur () in Kashmiri, is a neighborhood in Indian-administered Srinagar in the disputed region of Jammu and Kashmir. It is located about 9km north of Lal Chowk, Srinagar , on the Srinagar-Ladakh Highway in Jammu and Kashmir, India. Soura is noted for the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, a multi-specialty hospital. Besides serving as a hospital, it is the medical deemed university of Kashmir Valley. Downtown, popularly known as ''Shahar-e-Khaas'', is the largest and the most densely populated area of the city of Srinagar in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, India. Khawaja Habibullah Nowshehri
Khawaja Habibullah Nowshehri () was a Kashmiri Sufi poet. He is known by his pen name ''"Hubbi".'' Early life Khawaja Habibullah Nowshehri was born in the Locality of Nowshera, Srinagar, in 963 Hijri year ''(corresponding to c.1555 CE)'' to his father Shamsuddin Ginai, who was a wealthy shopkeeper in the locality. Hence, Hubbi also used to work in the shop, selling goods. At a young age, Hubbi became a hafiz after he memorized the Quran and then studied Fiqh, Hadith, Persian language and Persian literature. Zayn Al-Abidin The Great
Ghiyath al-Din Shah Rukh Shahi Khan (; 25 November 1395 – 5 April 1470), commonly known as Zayn al-Abidin the Great, was the ninth sultan of the Kashmir Sultanate, ruling first from 1418 to 1419 and then from 1420 to 1470. He was famously called Budshah (Great King) by his subjects.
