Nowhere (2023 Film)
''Nowhere'' is a 2023 Spanish survival thriller film directed by from a screenplay by Ernest Riera, Miguel Ruz, Indiana Lista, Seanne Winslow, and Teresa Rosendoy which stars Anna Castillo alongside Tamar Novas. Taking place in a dystopian setting, the plot follows Mia (Castillo), separated from her husband after a totalitarian government takes over their home country. Plot Mia and Nico decide to leave Spain due to a global crisis that has caused a shortage of necessities and the emergence of a tyrannical government which is killing civilians in an attempt to control a resources shortage. The couple fear for their lives and the safety of their unborn child. They had previously lost their firstborn daughter, Uma, who the military took away from them as part of a genocidal attempt at reducing Spain's population by killing children, the elderly, and pregnant women. Anna Castillo Ferré (born 9 October 1993) is a Spanish actress. From 2013 to 2016, she played Dorita in soap opera ''Amar es para siempre''. Her film breakthrough came with the role of Alma in the drama ''El Olivo'' (2016) for which she won a Goya Award for Best New Actress. Biography Anna Castillo Ferré was born in Barcelona on 9 October 1993. From the age of seven, Castillo enrolled into various acting schools in Barcelona and Madrid, later studying at Saint Joan Bosco Horta college. She graduated with a bachelors of arts in 2011.
