Novoair () is a Bangladeshi airline based in Dhaka operating mostly domestic flights. It operates 25 flights each day from Dhaka to eight destinations. History Novoair was established in October 2007 as an aviation service provider as the business diversification of parent company Tusuka Group with directors Arshad Jamal, Faiz Khan, Mofizur Rahman, and Fayzur Rahman Badal. The process of establishing a scheduled airline began in late 2011. Novoair launched a commercial operation on 9 January 2013 with Embraer 145 jet aircraft as the first Bangladeshi airline to operate this type. In July 2013, Novoair launched ''Smiles'', the frequent-flyer program of the airline. Smiles is the first frequent-flyer program for domestic flights in Bangladesh's aviation history. Saidpur Airport () is a domestic airport located in Saidpur, Nilphamari District, Rangpur Division, Bangladesh. The airport is operated by the Civil Aviation Authority, Bangladesh. Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Novoair, Air Astra and US-Bangla Airlines operate flights to Dhaka, Chittagong and Cox’s Bazar. Saidpur is a city of Nilphamari district in Rangpur division, and Saidpur Airport is one of the northernmost airports in the country. Shah Makhdum Airport, Rajshahi is a domestic airport serving Rajshahi, the principal city of the Rajshahi Division in Bangladesh. The airport is located at Nowhata, about 10 kilometers north from city center of Rajshahi and named after Sufi saint Shah Makhdum Rupos. The airport also serves as a base for two flying training academies. Facilities The airport is situated at an elevation of above mean sea level. Shah Amanat International Airport () is an international airport serving Bangladesh's southeastern port city of Chattogram. Jashore Airport is a domestic airport in Jashore, Bangladesh that is operated and maintained by the Civil Aviation Authority. It is also used by the Bangladesh Air Force as part of ''BAF Matiur Rahman Base'' and training airfield for the Bangladesh Air Force Academy. Cox's Bazar International Airport is a international airport in the resort town of Cox's Bazar in Bangladesh. The airport serves the residents of Cox's Bazar as well as tourists to the region. Cox's Bazar (; ; ) is a city, fishing port, tourism centre, and Cox's Bazar District, district headquarters in south-eastern Bangladesh.
