Evgeny Grigorievich Novitsky (russian: Евге́ний Григо́рьевич Нови́цкий) is a Russian engineer and entrepreneur, former president of the large AFK Sistema conglomerate which holds many diversified businesses. He is also the chairman of the trustee board of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University, which he graduated from back in 1985. Nowadays he is one of the chairmen of the electronics production company RTI Systems. Biography and education Evgeny Novitsky was born on 19 November 1957 in Tomsk Oblast. He graduated from Bauman Moscow State Technical University in 1985 as an engineer in manufacturing of aircraft. He worked at the university as engineer mathematician and postgraduate until 1990, while working on various scientific projects for Russian defense industry. Vasily Fedorovich Novitsky ( rus, Василий Фёдорович Новицкий, - 15 January 1929) was a Russian general with a liberal, progressive viewpoint during the 19th century of Imperial Russia. During the Russian Revolution, in 1917, he sided with the Bolsheviks. Service While Captain, in 1888, he spent four months as a guest of the Indian Army. His Indian studies were released in 1899, in a semi-classified document, ''Military Sketches of India'', which he was held in high regard for, especially since he had detailed the dangerous Leh-Yarkand-Kashgar route. Craig Aaron Novitsky (born May 12, 1971) is an American former professional football player who was a guard for the New Orleans Saints in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football with the UCLA Bruins. As a senior, Novitsky was an all-conference player in the Pacific-10 (now known as the Pac-12). He was drafted by New Orleans in the fifth round of the 1994 NFL draft, and played three seasons with the Saints. Oleg Viktorovich Novitskiy (russian: Олег Викторович Новицкий; born October 12, 1971) is a former Lieutenant Colonel in the Russian Air Force who logged over 700 hours of flight time and was awarded for bravery. He is currently serving as a Russian cosmonaut with Roscosmos and has participated in multiple expeditions, during which he has spent over 531 days in space. Jeff Novitzky (born December 15, 1967) is the current Senior Vice President of Athlete Health and Performance for the UFC, the world's largest mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion. He previously served as a special agent for the Food and Drug Administration, investigating the use of steroids in professional sports. Before April 2008 he was a special agent for the Internal Revenue Service who investigated the use of steroids for over five years. Novitzky's work has been credited with "changing the face of sports."
