Malta was a Swedish pop duo consisting of Claes af Geijerstam and Göran Fristorp. In 1973, they had to change their band name to Nova in order to perform at the Eurovision Song Contest 1973 due to potential confusion with the country Malta. They performed the song "You're Summer" in Luxembourg Luxembourg, officially the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, is a landlocked country in Western Europe. "Waterloo" is a song recorded by Swedish pop group ABBA, with music composed by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus and lyrics written by Stig Anderson, Stikkan Anderson. Family Four were a Swedish pop group who recorded during the 1960s and 1970s. They were made up of Berndt Öst, Marie Bergman, Agnetha Munther and Pierre Isacsson. They won Melodifestivalen twice, in 1971 with "Vita vidder" and in 1972 with "Härliga sommardag". They went on to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest on these two occasions. They finished sixth in 1971 and 13th in 1972. They also represented their home country Sweden at the opening ceremony of the 1974 FIFA World Cup. Sweden was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1973 with the song "You're Summer", composed by Monica Dominique and Carl-Axel Dominique, with lyrics by Lars Forssell, and performed by Nova and the Dolls. The Swedish participating broadcaster, (SR), selected its entry through 1973. The winner of was the song "" performed by the group Malta. To avoid being confused with the country of Malta, who did not participate in that year's contest, they changed their name to "The Nova" (with their backing group The Dolls) for the contest.
