Adorned Brood
Adorned Brood is a German folk metal, folk black metal band from Neuss, Germany. History (1993–2006) After the foundation in 1993, Adorned Brood recorded two demo tapes. They signed a contract to Germany, German music label Folter Records. They recorded their first two albums ''Hiltia'' and ''Wigand (album), Wigand in'' 1996 and 1998 respectively. Only 1,000 copies of each album were released. They later signed a contract with Moonstorm Records and released their third album, ''Asgard (album), Asgard'', in 2000. Lead singer Erik Hecht from the band Subway to Sally joined Adorned Brood for their fourth album, ''Erdenkraft'', in 2000. They toured with Subway to Sally, and played at the music festivals Summer Breeze Open Air, Partysan, Wave Gotik Treffen and Feuertanz Festival. Noor Energy 1
Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park is a solar park spread over a total area of in Saih Al-Dahal, about south of the city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is one of the world's largest renewable projects based on an independent power producer (IPP) model. Besides solar farms using PV technology, the project includes concentrating solar power (CSP), with the total capacity of the entire project planned to reach more than 4,000 megawatts. It is estimated that the park will be generating 5,000 megawatts of renewable energy by 2030. The plant was implemented by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA). The first phase of the project was commissioned on 22 October 2013. At the end of 2020 the solar PV complex reached a generating capacity of 1.013 GW with the aim to reach 5GW by 2030. Noor (satellite)
Noor (also spelled Nour, ) is a class of Iranian military Earth-imaging CubeSat. Three Noor satellites have been launched from the Shahroud Space Center in Shahrud Desert in Iran into low Earth orbit aboard three-stage Qased ( lit. 'message') space-launch vehicles. Noor-1, the first Iranian military satellite, was launched on 22 April 2020 to a 425 kilometer orbit and decayed from orbit on 13 April 2022 marking a lifespan of one year, eleven months, and nine days, just past its expected one year service life. Noor-1 carried a photo of former Quds Force Commander Qassem Soleimani and a Quranic verse about overcoming adversaries. Noor-2, the second satellite of the Noor class, was launched on 8 March 2022 (during the Sha'baniyah holiday) to a 500 kilometer orbit. It has a resolution of 12 to 15 meters, a weight of 17 kg, a swath width of 25 km and 6 passes. The Noor () is a long-range anti-ship missile, anti-ship cruise missile manufactured by Iran. The missile is in primary service with the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy, Iranian Navy. The missile is a Reverse engineering, reverse engineered Chinese YJ-83, C-802 anti-ship missile. History Iran was the first export customer of Chinese C-802 missiles. The contract was signed in 1995 but was cancelled due to U.S. pressure after 60 missiles had been delivered. After that, Iran started a program to reverse engineer the C-802. Noor (1945 – 16 November 1974) was an Irish-bred Thoroughbred racehorse Champion who competed successfully in the United Kingdom and the United States. Background Given the Arabic name meaning "Light", Noor was sired by five-time U.S. leading sire Nasrullah. His damsire, Bahram, won the English Triple Crown in 1935. Ouarzazate Solar Power Station (OSPS), also called Noor Power Station (نور, Arabic for light) is a solar power complex and auxiliary diesel fuel system located in the Drâa-Tafilalet region in Morocco, from Ouarzazate town, in Ghessat rural council area. At 510 MW, it is the world's largest concentrated solar power (CSP) plant. With an additional 72 MW photovoltaic system the entire project was planned to produce 582 MW. The total project's estimated cost is around $9 billion. The Noor Abu Dhabi is the world's largest single-site solar power plant as of November 2022, located near Abu Dhabi in Sweihan. Description Noor Abu Dhabi has 3.2 million solar panels. Noor is the Arabic word for "light". The generating capacity is 1.177 GW; the total project cost is US$870 million. The plant provides power for 90,000 individuals in Abu Dhabi.
