Nosy (album)
''Nosy'' is the second studio album of the Portuguese pop rock singer Gomo. It was released in 2009 in Portugal. '' Final Stroke'' was the first rack to be released from the album. The album's songs are performed by Gomo (lead vocals), Mário Barreiros (acoustic guitar, producer, mastering, drums, bass), Pedro Oliveira, (backing vocals), Mario Santos (saxophone) and Manuel Simões (guitar). Production ''Nosy'' was produced in a style that differed from Gomo's previous album, '' Best of Gomo''. The aim was to make an album that sounded positive and colourful with bold vocals, varied arrangements and surprises for the listener. '' Final Stroke'', the first track to be released, featured Rafel Nuno on bass and guitar and '' Sergio Nascimento'' (David Fonseca and Sergio Godinho) on drums. Aloysius Parker
Aloysius "Nosey" Parker is a fictional character introduced in the British 1960s Supermarionation television series '' Thunderbirds'', who also appears in the film sequels '' Thunderbirds Are Go'' (1966) and '' Thunderbird 6'' (1968) and the 2004 live-action adaptation '' Thunderbirds''. He is the butler and chauffeur to Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward and, like her, a field agent of the secret organisation International Rescue. The puppet character of the TV series and first two films was voiced by David Graham. In the live-action film, Parker is portrayed by Ron Cook. Graham reprised his role for the series '' Thunderbirds Are Go'', which first aired in the UK in 2015. ''The Horse's Mouth'' is a 1958 British film directed by Ronald Neame and starring Alec Guinness, Kay Walsh and Renée Houston. The screenplay was by Alec Guinness based on the 1944 novel ''The Horse's Mouth'' by Joyce Cary. It was produced by John Bryan and Neame and filmed in Technicolor. Plot Eccentric painter Gulley Jimson is released from a one-month jail sentence for telephone harassment of his sponsor, Mr. Hickson. Nosey Barbon, who wants to be Jimson's protégé, greets Jimson at HM Prison Wormwood Scrubs, but Jimson tries to discourage Nosey from pursuing painting for a living. ''The Numskulls'' is a comic strip in ''The Beano'', and previously in ''The Beezer'' and ''The Dandy'' – UK comics owned by D.C Thomson. The strip is about a team of tiny human-like technicians who live inside the heads of various people, running and maintaining their bodies and minds. It first appeared in ''The Beezer'' from 1962 until 1979, drawn by Malcolm Judge. The Numskulls are still going and featured weekly in the popular British comic The Beano. Roger Hargreaves (9 May 1935 – 11 September 1988) was a British cartoonist, illustrator and writer of children's books. He created the ''Mr. Men'' series, ''Mr. Men#"Little Miss" series, Little Miss'' series and ''Timbuctoo'' series, intended for young readers. Art Gauthier
Patrice Arthur "Nosey" Gauthier (October 10, 1904 – June 30, 1977) was a Canadian professional ice hockey centre. He played 13 games in the National Hockey League for the Montreal Canadiens during the 1926–27 season. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1923 to 1936, was spent in the minor leagues. He is buried in Montreal's Mount Royal Cemetery. Gauthier played for the Galt Terriers senior amateur team of the Ontario Hockey Association from 1924 until 1927. He returned to Montreal to make his professional debut with the Canadiens in the 1926–27 season, playing 13 games in the regular season, and one in the playoffs. It was his only time in the NHL. The Fresno Chaffee Zoo is a zoo in Roeding Park in Fresno, California covering 39 acres and housing over 190 species. Its attractions include Stingray Bay, Dino Dig, Valley Farm, Sea Lion Cove, African Adventure, and Ross Laird's Winged Wonders Bird Show. The zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and is a member of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA).
