Norwith Gudiño
Norwith Jossue Gudiño (born November 22, 1995) is a Venezuelan professional baseball pitcher for the Olmecas de Tabasco of the Mexican League. He is currently a phantom ballplayer, having spent a day on the active roster of the Boston Red Sox without appearing in a game. Career San Francisco Giants On October 20, 2014, Gudiño signed with the San Francisco Giants as an international free agent. Gudiño spent his first three professional seasons with the Dominican Summer League Giants. In 40 total games (33 starts), he went 11–6 with a 2.62 ERA and 177 strikeouts in innings pitched. Gudiño split the 2018 season between the Low–A Salem-Keizer Volcanoes, Single–A Augusta GreenJackets, and High–A San Jose Giants. The San Jose Giants are a Minor League Baseball team of the California League and the Single-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. The Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos (English: Two Laredos Owls), formerly known as the Tecolotes de Nuevo Laredo (English: Nuevo Laredo Owls), are a professional baseball team in the Mexican League. Bullpen
In baseball, the bullpen (or simply the pen) is the area where relief pitchers warm up before entering a game. A team's roster of relief pitchers is also metonymically referred to as "the bullpen". These pitchers usually wait in the bullpen if they have not yet played in a game, rather than in the dugout with the rest of the team. The starting pitcher also makes their final pregame warm-up throws in the bullpen. Managers can call coaches in the bullpen on an in-house telephone from the dugout to tell a certain pitcher to begin their warm-up tosses. Relief pitchers are often assisted in their warm-ups by specialized coaches known as bullpen catchers. In baseball, a save ( SV or S) is credited to a pitcher who finishes a game for the winning team under certain circumstances. A save can be earned by entering a game in which his team is leading by three or fewer runs and finishing the game by pitching at least one inning without losing the lead; entering the game with the tying run in the on-deck circle, at the plate or on the bases and finishing the game; or by pitching at least three innings in relief and finishing the game regardless of how many runs your team was winning by when entering the game. Sacramento River Cats
The Sacramento River Cats are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and are the Triple-A (baseball), Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. Prior to 2015, the River Cats were the Triple-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics for 15 seasons.
