Northern Superchargers
Northern Superchargers are a franchise 100-ball cricket side based in the English city of Leeds. The team represents the areas of North East England and Yorkshire in The Hundred competition, which first took place during the 2021 English and Welsh cricket season. Both sides play at Headingley Cricket Ground. Hollie Jade Armitage (born 14 June 1997) is an English cricketer who currently captains Yorkshire and Northern Diamonds, as well as playing for Northern Superchargers. An all-rounder, she plays as a right-handed batter and right-arm leg break bowler. She has previously played for Yorkshire Diamonds, Sydney Sixers and Tasmania. York Cricket Club is an English amateur cricket club based in York. The club became a founding member of the Yorkshire Cricket League in 1935. Yorkshire County Cricket Club is a professional Cricket club based in Yorkshire, England. The team competes in the County Championship, the top tier of English First-class cricket. Headingley Cricket Ground is a cricket ground in the Headingley Stadium complex in Headingley, Leeds, England. It adjoins the Headingley Rugby Stadium through a shared main stand, although the main entrance to the cricket ground is at the opposite Kirkstall Lane end.
