Northeastern University (NEU) is a public university in Shenyang, Liaoning, China. It is affiliated with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, Ministry of Education, and co-funded by the Ministry of Education, State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, SASTIND, Liaoning Provincial People's Government, and Shenyang Municipal People's Government. The university is part of Project 211, Project 985, and the Double First-Class Construction. Hunnan District
Hunnan District (), formerly Dongling District () one of ten districts of the prefecture-level city of Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning Province, Northeast China, and forms part of the eastern and southeastern suburbs.
