Northeast Generals
The Northeast Generals are a Junior ice hockey#Tier II, Tier II junior ice hockey team based in Canton, Massachusetts. The team competes in the North American Hockey League (NAHL). History In 2015, the organization added a Junior ice hockey#Tier III, Tier III junior team to the North American 3 Eastern Hockey League (NA3EHL). The team finished last in the East Division with a 9–32–3 record. In 2016, the NA3EHL was merged into the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) and the Tier III Generals followed. On April 1, 2016, the Generals were also approved for a Tier II junior team in the NA3HL's overseeing organization, the North American Hockey League (NAHL). The Generals became the easternmost team in the NAHL. Continuing his position from the Tier III team, their first head coach and general manager was Bryan Erikson. 2019–20 NAHL Season
The 2019–20 NAHL season was the 36th season of the North American Hockey League. The regular season was scheduled to run from September 2019 to April 2020 with a 60-game schedule for all teams. The Lone Star Brahmas won the regular season championship due to having the most points when the season was suspended. COVID-19 On March 12, 2020, the NAHL announced that it was suspending play across the entire league pending future developments. Less than a week later, the league cancelled the remainder of the schedule as well as the playoffs. The Black Bears play their home games in the Piney Orchard Ice Arena in Odenton, Maryland.
