Hung Hom Ferry Pier () is a ferry pier in Hung Hom, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It is located on the reclaimed land of Hung Hom Bay. Currently, two ferry companies operate routes to Central Piers and North Point Ferry Pier. History The original pier, opened in 1979 using Streamline Moderne design from the Star Ferry terminals at Central and Tsim Sha Tsui, was located near the Hung Hom Station, close to the current position of Metropolis Tower. In 1988, the pier was temporarily relocated to the seaside of Hunghom Bay Centre to cope with the Hung Hom Bay Reclamation Project. When the project was completed in 1991, the pier was moved to the current location. It opened in March 1991. Discovery Bay is a picturesque residential community located on Lantau Island. The 2021 census recorded a population of 19,336 residents in DB, with 55% of them being non-Chinese. DB is home to a significant community compared of expatriates from over fifty countries. It is one of the most ethnically diverse places in Hong Kong. Mui Wo is a rural town on the eastern coast of Lantau Island in British Hong Kong, Hong Kong. The 2011 Census recorded 5,485 people living in Mui Wo and its environs. Mui Wo (English: Mui Wo), formerly known as Mei Wo or Mei Wei (Cantonese: Wo and Wei are homophones), is located in the eastern part of Lantau Island in the New Territories of Hong Kong. Kwun Tong Ferry Pier () is a ferry pier situated on Hoi Yuen Road, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong. The pier was originally situated at Ngau Tau Kok called " Ngau Tau Kok Ferry Pier" (), but during the 1960s, due to reclamation work, the pier was moved to Kwun Tong. The ferry pier complex consists of three piers: a passenger ferry pier, a vehicular ferry pier and a public pier. Parts of the ground floor and upper floor of the vehicular ferry pier were used as Kwun Tong Driving School. There is a footbridge linking Kwun Tong Ferry Pier and Manulife Financial Centre. The passenger ferry pier used to provide services to both Shau Kei Wan and North Point, but after the Shau Kei Wan service was terminated, its half of the ferry pier was converted into a supermarket.
