North Meath RFC is an Irish rugby team based in Kells, County Meath County Meath ( ; or simply , ) is a Counties of Ireland, county in the Eastern and Midland Region of Republic of Ireland, Ireland, within the Provinces of Ireland, province of Leinster. It is bordered by County Dublin to the southeast, County .... They play in the North East McGee Cup & The Anderson Cup. They won The 2nd Towns cup in 2011. The club colours are black and yellow. The club also has a Women's team, founded in November 2016 by John Fitzgerald and Victor Grey. They are currently in a Division 4 Development League playing under Manager John Fitzgerald and Coach Ben Traynor. Their captain in Maye Muldoon. The Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) () is the body managing rugby union in the island of Ireland (both Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland). Kells (; ) is a town in County Meath, Ireland. The town lies off the M3 motorway, from Navan and from Dublin. Along with other towns in County Meath, it is within the commuter belt for Dublin, and had a population of 6,608 as of the 2022 census.
