Norra Tornen
Norra Tornen (in English, Northern Towers) are a pair of high-rise apartment buildings located in Vasastaden district of Stockholm, Sweden. Opened in 2018, the eastern tower is tall, consisting of 36 floors. The west tower opened in 2020 and is tall, with 33 floors. The complex contains 300 residential units and ground breaking took place in the autumn of 2015. History In 2009, the Stockholm City planning office called for the construction of two skyscrapers in a new residential area on the border between Stockholm and Solna, a planning area later named Hagastaden. These twin towers were called "" in the original zoning plan, after the Torsplan plaza on which they were meant to be built. Vasastan, Stockholm
Vasastaden, or colloquially Vasastan, (Swedish for "Vasa town") is a 3.00 km2 large city district in central Stockholm, Sweden, being a part of Norrmalm borough. The major parks in Vasastaden are Vasaparken and Observatorielunden near the centre and Vanadislunden and Bellevueparken in the north. Sten Nordin
Sten Nordin (born 18 February 1956), is a Swedish politician of the Moderate Party and the governor of Blekinge County. He served as mayor of Stockholm from 2008 to 2014. Educated at the University of Uppsala, he was chairman of the Heimdal Association, the Free Moderate Party Student Union. Nordin was elected as a member of the Stockholm City Council from 1992, and was vice chair of the Moderate group from 1994-2006. Four Embarcadero Center
Four Embarcadero Center is a class-A office skyscraper in the Financial District of San Francisco, California. The building is part of the Embarcadero Center complex of six interconnected buildings and one off-site extension. The skyscraper, completed in 1982, stands with 45 stories. Four Embarcadero Center is the tallest building out of the entire complex, standing at slightly taller than One Embarcadero Center, which is the second tallest in the complex without its flagpole.
