Nordjyllands Amt
North Jutland County () is a former county (Danish: '' amt'') in northern Denmark. It was located on the eastern half of Vendsyssel-Thy and the northernmost part of the Jutland peninsula. It was the largest county in Denmark, but with a relatively low population. The county seat was Aalborg, Denmark's fourth largest city. The county was abolished effective January 1, 2007, when it merged into North Denmark Region (). Hals Municipality
Hals Municipality ceased to exist on 1 January 2007, as a result of Kommunalreformen. It was located in North Jutland County. The municipality covered an area of 191 km², and had a total population of 11,448 (2005). Its last mayor was Bent Sørensen, a member of the Social Democrats (Denmark), Social Democrats (''Socialdemokraterne'') Politics of Denmark, political party. Though Hals, Denmark, Hals was the biggest town, the site of its municipal council was the town of Gandrup since the location was more central. Skagen
Skagen () is the northernmost town in Denmark, on the east coast of the Skagen Odde peninsula in the far north of Jutland, part of Frederikshavn Municipality in North Denmark Region, Nordjylland, north of Frederikshavn and northeast of Aalborg. Sejlflod
Sejlflod Municipality was a municipality ( Danish, '' kommune'') in the former North Jutland County on the east coast of the Jutland peninsula in northern Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 208 km2, and had a total population of 9,394 (2005). Its last mayor was Kristian Schnoor, a member of the Social Democrats (''Socialdemokraterne'') political party. The main town and site of its municipal council was the town of Storvorde, ca. 12 kilometers east of Aalborg city center. Pandrup
Pandrup is a town in North Jutland, Denmark. It is located in Jammerbugt Municipality, 6 km northwest of Aabybro and 17 km southwest of Brønderslev. Until 1 January 2007 Pandrup was the seat of the former Pandrup Municipality. History Pandrup is first mentioned in 1470. A train station was built in 1913 and was one of the Hjørring-Løkken-Aabybro railroad's largest stations. The station was built by Sylvius Knutzen. It was shut down in 1963. Løkken-Vrå was a municipality (Danish language, Danish, ''Commune (subnational entity), kommune'') in the North Jutland County, Denmark until 1 January 2007. It was located on the northwest coast of the island of Vendsyssel-Thy on the northern Jutland peninsula. The municipality covered an area of , and had a total population of 8,828 (2005). Løgstør
Løgstør is a town in Denmark with a population of 3,969 (1 January 2025) It is located 47 km west of Aalborg and 64 km north of Viborg. Løgstør's city centre consists of old streets with small houses built in the 19th century for fishermen and sailors. One of these houses was donated by Danish housemen to the author and poet Johan Skjoldborg (1861 - 1936) in 1918, who lived in the house until his death. It is located on Johan Skjoldborgs Vej.
