Nordic Media Festival
The Nordic Media Festival is the largest media conference in the Nordic region. Held annually in Bergen, Norway, the Festival features 100 speakers, and around 1,860 delegates attend, representing the full spectrum of the industry. Founded in 1988, the festival is a non-profit foundation. In addition to the conference and unique networking events, a variety of projects are organized for high-school students: NMD Ung gives youth an opportunity to increase their competence and gain access to the media industry. The Minister for Culture (formally cabinet minister and head of the Ministry for Culture) is a member and minister of the Swedish Government and appointed by the Prime Minister. The minister heads the Ministry for Culture and is responsible for cultural issues and construction. Before 1 December 1991, the cultural issues were handled by the Ministry of Education. Between 1991 and 2004, and from 2006 it's a separate ministry. In the years between 2004 and 2006, the issues were handled by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The current Minister for Culture is Parisa Liljestrand, who was appointed on 18 October 2022. Jeff Jarvis
Jeff Jarvis (born July 15, 1954) is an American journalist, associate professor, public speaker and former television critic. He advocates the Open Web and argues that there are many social and personal benefits to living a more public life on the Internet. Career Jarvis began his career in journalism in 1972 writing for the ''Addison Herald-Register'', a local weekly newspaper at which he was the sole journalist. In 1974 Jarvis was an undergraduate in the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University when he was hired by the '' Chicago Tribune''. ''The Bridge'' ( da, Broen ; ) is a Nordic noir crime television series created and written by Hans Rosenfeldt. A joint creative and financed production between Sweden's Sveriges Television and Denmark's Danmarks Radio, it has been shown in more than 100 countries. The first season begins with the discovery of a dead body exactly on the Denmark–Sweden border, the centre of the Øresund Bridge, which links Malmö with Copenhagen, necessitating a joint investigation. ''The Daily Show'' is an American late-night talk and satirical news television program. It airs each Monday through Thursday on Comedy Central with release shortly after on Paramount+.
